You may visit the Assetcircle.com website without identifying yourself or revealing yourself. This Privacy Policy explains how we use any personal information (“Personal Data”) we collect about you when you use this website (including any of its sub-domains) or any mobile application we provide and all the people that we engage with (the “Website” and “App” respectively, and together the “Platform”). Please note this Privacy Policy only applies to the use of Personal Data collected from our Platform or during your communications with us. It does not apply to your communications with any other third-party.

We collect information on you when you register on our website assetcircle.com or mobile application (“Platform”), when you subscribe to our newsletter and other Services, when you register for and/or attend virtual and on-line events listed on our Platform, when you interact with our social media accounts, when you complete questionnaires or surveys, or otherwise interact with us.

1.2 Marketing

Asset Circle offers unique opportunities for investment management companies and other service providers that want to highlight their thought leadership expertise and investment credentials. Our Event Organisers and Advertisers (“Commercial Partner”) content features allows you to post content relating to your forthcoming event. To post a forthcoming in-person or virtual event, we ask you to provide us with your work email address, your name, the company you work for, and key information relating to the event prompted on the “create your event” form. This information is used to create, maintain, and add to our events listing page.

1.3 How information about you will be used

To comply with any legal or regulatory obligations, we may use your Personal Data to confirm that you are eligible to attend events for professional investors. If you agree to receiving marketing materials and other information for professional investors use only, please tick the relevant boxes on the registration form.

We use the Personal Data we collect to allow you to register for and attend conferences and events that our Commercial Partners host, both in-person events and virtual events. When you register your interest to attend a specific event, you consent to your Personal Data being shared with the Event Organiser and Advertiser (“Commercial Partner”) whose event you requested to attend and/or whose Content you requested.

This enables the Commercial Partner and/or us to (i) keep you informed as to the registered event; (ii) contact you after the event for feedback or email, and (iii) send you relevant marketing and other messages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and their interactions with you; it is your responsibility to let them know whether you want to withdraw your consent to receive information from them.

Personal Data which you supply to us may be used in a number of ways, for example:

(i) To respond to communications including customer support or other enquiries requesting information;
(ii) To monitor, improve, personalise, expand and administer the Platform and the Services provided in it;
